Blues Master James Cotton Performs at Scullers Jazz Club on March 29-30

Grammy award winner James Cotton is performing four show at Scullers Jazz Club in Boston on Friday, March 29 and Saturday, March 30, 2013, at 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. each night.  Tickets to the show are $25 and can be purchased online or at the venue.

The legendary blues harmonica player and singer has been performing for over six decades, and continues to draw new fans everywhere he goes.  Read his bio here.

Cape Ann Big Band Performs in Rockport on Friday, March 29

The popular Cape Ann Big Band is playing a concerting at the Shalin Liu Performance Center in Rockport on Friday, March 29, 2013 at 8:00 p.m.  Tickets to the concert are $19, $28 and $34 and can be purchased online or at the venue.

Led by Carlos Menezes, the 17-piece Cape Ann Big Band covers a spectrum of sounds, ranging from swing to rock and popular music.  Here is a video of the Cape Ann Big Band.

Nona Hendryx Rewired Concert at Berklee Performance Center on Tuesday, March 26

Singer Nona Hendryx is showcasing the latest trends in music technology at the Berklee Performance Center in Boston on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at 8:15 p.m.  Tickets to the show are $8 in advance, available online, or $12 the day of the show.

The concert is a collaboration between Nona and the Electronic Production & Design department at Berklee College, and will feature faculty and students from the department.

Jazz Trumpeter Roy Hargrove Plays at Scullers Jazz Club on January 18-19

Jazz trumpet player Roy Hargrove and his Quintet perform four shows at Scullers Jazz Club in Boston on Friday, January 18 and Saturday, January 19, 2013, at 8:00 and 10:00 p.m. each night.

Tickets to the show are $35 and can be purchased online.

Considered one of the premier jazz players of his generation, Hargrove has won two Grammy Awards for best jazz instrumental album and best Latin jazz performance.
