Afro-Latin Band Performing at Cafe Tatant in Boston on Thursday, May 19

African and world beat drumming star Cornel Coley and Sugarfoot perform this week at Cafe Tatant at the Roxbury Center for the Arts in Boston's Roxbury neighborhood on Thursday, May 19, 2011.

The group performs a lively selection of original songs and well-loved hits and everything from salsa, bossa nova and samba to jazz, soul and world beat.

It's a dinner club format, reminiscent of old style jazz clubs.  Doors open at 7:00 p.m. for drinks, followed by dinner at 7:30 p.m., and the music begins at 8:00 p.m. Ethnica Gourmet Catering provides the food.

Tickets to the show are $12 each; meal and show combo is $28; and meal and show for two people is $54.  Tickets can be ordered online.
